I really like all the colors in this picture, how you captured the sun coming up (I suppose that is what it is) between two hills in the land. I would have tried to make the land more straight in the picture, as it looks like it is tipped up a little bit at the right side of the picture. Also, I know most times, the artist has no control over this, but I would have tried to make it so that the seaweed (I'm just guessing on what it is) in the water looked less noticeable. Otherwise, this photo is great. As with all my critiques, please do not take what I am saying to heart, and reason that there is something wrong with your art. There is absolutely nothing wrong with your art, these are just things that I would do. Please understand that, and keep taking more wonderful pictures.
First off, this is a beautiful shot. The colors are gorgeous - the soft touch of orange makes a great contrast to the blue predominating the picture. It's not much, but it's just enough to provide plenty of visual interest. It's a great example of less is more
I love the crisp outline of the silhouetted landscape - everything is just wonderfully clear and glassy smooth.
Critique wise, I wouldn't say it's all that original, but it's difficult to be so with sunset shots - you're largely at the mercy of the weather and nature once you've chosen your location, so I wouldn't worry much about that part of the critique stars. Great shot
